Aztec Stadium at SDSU Picks First 8 Food Vendors

Aztec stadium “meet and eat” featured cali bbq, and more san diego restaurant companies.

When Aztec Stadium opens in 2022 there will be many great local food options to eat, including our own Cali BBQ.

San Diego State University announced the eight initial food vendors for Aztec Stadium at SDSU Mission Valley.

The restaurants drafted to feed fans at Aztec Stadium were: Batch & Box (craft cookies), Best Pizza & Brew (pizza and beer), Cali BBQ (smoked barbecue and sides), The Crack Shack (fried chicken), Everbowl (healthy superfoods bowls), Gaglione Brothers (cheesesteak sandwiches), Hodad’s (burgers and shakes) and The Taco Stand (tacos and more).

The venue will still sell traditional stadium refreshments. More food and beverage partners will be announced later.

Aztec Stadium Construction Complete in 2022 —

San Diego State University is building the new Aztec Stadium which will seat 35,000 people. The mission is to open the stadium before the Aztec Football Team’s season opener on Sept. 3, 2022.
